REACH began its Neighborhood Revitalization Project program in November 2016 with the purchase of their first abandoned house located at 709 Stewart Ave. SE. After partnering with the Southeast Action Forum, reclaiming and restoring abandoned houses became part of REACH's story. The Presbyterian Community Center partnered with REACH on their second Neighborhood Revitalization Project, 1718 Edmund Ave. NE.
The third and fourth houses REACH plans to restore are right next to one another -- 1602 and 1608 Dale Ave. SE. 1608 is 95% completed.

Once the houses are restored, they are sold as affordable housing. Funds from each sale are then used to purchase more abandoned houses in need of restoration. REACH's hope is that these Neighborhood Revitalization Projects will have a snowball effect (see video below) on the neighborhoods each house resides in.
